A person or firm in the EU that non-EU organisations must appoint to act as their local GDPR contact.
Organisations outside the EU that are caught by the GDPR (by offering goods/services to, or monitoring, people in the EU) must usually appoint an EU representative.
The representative is the point of contact for individuals and regulators within the EU.
